The Scappoose Kiwanis Club is sponsoring a youth basketball league. This program is designed to teach basic basketball skills and encourage a high level of participation for all children, regardless of skill level. All boys and girls in 3rd through 6th grades residing within the Scappoose School District boundary are invited to participate.

Registrations are due at your school office by Wednesday, November 16th, 2011.

The cost of registration this year will be $15.00. This fee will cover insurance and referees for the program.

A late registration fee of $10.00, for a total of $25.00 will be due if registration forms are received after November 16, 2011. No registration forms will be accepted after Friday, November 18, 2011. This registration end date is necessary in order to make team assignments in a timely manner prior to the start of this basketball league.

Practices will begin in December with Saturday games scheduled during January and February 2012. *Note: 3rd/4th grade teams may occasionally be scheduled for one practice per week due to limited gym space as Grant Watts Gym is not available this year due to construction.

If you need to purchase a basketball jersey, please complete the order form attached and return it with your registration. The cost of our jersey is $21.00, and can be used for multiple years as Kiwanis Basketball will continue to utilize this jersey for our league.
