Scappoose Lady Indians Youth Basketball Travel Teams try-outs for girls in 5th through 8th grade

Varsity Women's Basketball Coach Gonzales has several announcements:

Scappoose Lady Indians Youth Basketball Travel Teams try-outs for girls in 5th through 8th grade.

If you’re interested in playing on a Scappoose Lady Indians Travel Team try-outs will be held on:
Sunday, October 30th in the Scappoose High School Gym.

  • 5th and 6th grade try-outs will be 5:00pm – 6:30pm
  • 7th and 8th grade try-outs will be 6:30pm – 8:00pm.

Parent informational meetings will be at the same time as try-outs.

For those unable to make this date/time, there is a make-up date scheduled for November 1st from 7:00pm – 8:30pm in the New Petersen Elementary School Gym.

Scappoose Boy’s Basketball Youth Travel Teams

Basketball try-outs for boys in 5th through 8th grade.

If you are interested in playing on a Scappoose Indians Travel Team tryouts will be held on:

7th and 8th grade try-outs:
Monday, November 7th 3:45-5:30PM at SHS
Tuesday, November 8th 3:45-5:30PM at SHS

5th and 6th grade try-outs:
Wednesday, November 9th 3:45-5:30PM at SHS
Thursday, November 10th 3:45-5:30PM at SHS

Players will be evaluated on basketball skills (shooting, dribbling, and passing), defensive technique and hustle, attitude, work ethic, and overall feel for the game.

Information regarding practice times, tournaments and other general information will be available for parents at the end of tryouts.
